Mascom 10 (Nissan March/Micra)

When Mma Mike passed her driving test it became necessary to equip her with a car. We were lucky enough to find a 1996 model year Nissan March K11 (Micra in other markets) with a manual gearbox (for the experience).

It was a Singapore import with a whole 900cc of engine, and a rather good Sony stereo/CD.

The less-kind relatives christened it “Mascom 10” in honour of the smallest denomination of prepaid cellphone units. I think of it more as The Cockroach (keeps going) or The Rollerskate (zipping around town, dodging combis and taxis).
